The Psychic Stylist Podcast is now LIVE!

Hi babes! I am so excited to be writing this post because my podcast is finally LIVE!

I have been working on this podcast for a few weeks now, but I’ll admit I’ve been thinking about it for months & months. I actually purchased a microphone back in February but I let it sit on my desk for a few weeks before I had the courage to plug it into my computer & hit record.

I have always loved the world of communication & journalism. Sharing my own experiences through words, with the intention to inspire others, has always felt natural to me. I have been so deeply moved & changed by the voices of others & want to lead the ones who are walking just a few paces behind me by sharing my own experiences. I am one of those people who are incredibly comfortable speaking in front of an audience so while I was a bit nervous to hit record on the mic I was confident that it was going to be another natural extension of myself, my business, & the vision I’m constantly recreating for my future.

I won’t deny that talking to no one on the other side of the podcast mic was a little challenging at first. I must have recorded about a dozen trial episodes until I felt as if I got my rhythm fully dialled in. It was really interesting to observe myself push through the uncomfortable bits & anchor into the bigger vision.

I decided to make a little vision board for my podcast to keep me inspired when that self doubt started to creep in. If you’ve been following me for some time now than you’ll know that I love a vision board to keep myself motivated & on track with a project. Its something I can glance at anytime I need a little encouragement.

I am also lucky enough to have truly amazing women at my side who are on standby if I need a little pep talk. Ladies who see me for exactly who I am & not have to jump over any of my own subconscious hurdles. These women have been paramount in my life over & over again in helping me show up for my best self. They never ever tell me to give up, are always on point with their inspiring & uplifting advice.

If there is something you’re wanting to start, maybe a side hustle or a passion project here is what I have learned so far about the process…I hope the lessons I have learned along the way help you stick to your guns & get that thing you want to do out into the world- because there has never been a time when the world needed your magic more than now!

  1. Take Messy Action! It’s totally ok if what you’re doing isn’t as perfect as maybe the people who have inspired you or the others who have put their work out ahead of you! Experience takes time & you’ll never gain the experience unless you start.

  2. You see the imperfections a lot more than anyone else. I know how easy it is to be your worst critic, I used to do this SO much. I would search high & low for the smallest mistake in my work & immediately use it as a reason to pull the plug. I spent far, far too much time standing in my own way & now I have a system & the support of experts to ensure that there is nothing that wrong with my work & that really helps me simply push PUBLISH.

  3. Let it evolve. How you start might not be how you finish, & that is ok! We are all evolutionary beings & it’s natural to adjust your sails once you’ve set out on your journey. I am always evolving, so my business is going to evolve alongside with me & that is something to celebrate! As long as you create consistently your audience will be excited to evolve alongside with you.

  4. Life is short & you are magic so please just go for it. This is probably the most personal lesson for me. After losing my very first business at the young age of 28 I was traumatized. I didn’t have a support system to encourage me to redirect my own sails so instead I let my ship sink. It took a lot of work to resurrect my vessel out of the deeps parts of my subconscious but I did & I am never looking back again. You are not your past, or your failures, you are your future. Living right now.
